Brave kitty saves owner from snake attack

A woman surnamed Ding, a resident of Chongqing municipality, owes her life to her cat after it protected her from a snake attack on Tuesday morning.

"I saw a 1.5-m long snake at my window and fell to the ground, frozen with fear. As the snake advanced my cat suddenly jumped between it and me and began spitting and snarling. I took the chance to phone the local police, who soon came and took the snake away from my home. I am so grateful to my cat," Ding said.
